Biblical spirituality will be evangelistic. In what practical ways will your approach to spirituality affect your approach to witness?

Evangelism is directly linked to spirituality. Biblical spirituality involves a person recognizing just how much God has done for them. This is someone who embraces the gospel wholedheartedly and the embracing of this incredible message should spur on this person to share with as many people who do not have Christ as possible.
Witness is a commandment in the Bible (Matthew 28:19-20). Therefore a healthy Christian spirituality involves a person witnessing by his actions and by his words. In a postmodern generation, it seems that our actions speak volumes to people as they watch how our Christianity integrates every aspect of our lives.
Spirituality is key to evangelism and genuine spirituality always involves evangelism.

Spirituality is evangelistic in two senses. First is in gifting. As a gifted evangelist a spiritual person will have lenses that see everything as a tool for evangelism. These gifted individuals will see their theology and spirituality as tools for evangelism as well something that is integral to themselves. I don?t consider myself a gifted evangelist but can encourage those that are to utilize the understanding of spirituality for their benefit.
Second evangelism is something that is universal for Christians. We are to share of what we have experienced and know. The more I know and understand the process of spirituality the more I can assess where someone is at and what wavelength they can be communicated to. I need to be good listener first then enter into their place with knowledge and love to bring them further to a savior that is calling them to repentance and new life.

When evangelism and spirituality are unlinked there is simply proselytizing. Evangelism is seeking new life to the person being communicated to not simply a shift in paradigms. Evangelism to be truly successful should have a converted evangelist. Not only one that is fully convinced of the truth but has a relationship with a living God that is exemplified in every area of life.
The good news is truly good news not another form of bondage to a rule or society but a living, loving relationship of finite being to their infinite creator and giver of purpose, wisdom, love and salvation.
