First, requesting permission to post as described below is only for those already registered who are now taking another ITS course. For those who are registering for the first time or who registered recently, they will receive permission to post in their course's forum at the same time that registration is approved.

In order to receive permission to post in a forum of a new course you recently started taking, you must request to join the usergroup associated with that particular course. For example, to post in the Psalms forum, you must be a member of the "Courses - Psalms" usergroup.

To join a usergroup with permission to post in a course:

1) Log In. **If you have not registered yet, then this post does not apply to you. Register (http://forums.itscourses.org/register.php) and you will be made a member of the course(s) which you indicate you are taking.**

2) Click on User CP (http://www.itscourses.org/usercp.php) at the top left corner of the screen to enter the control panel.

3) Scroll down. Click on Group Memberships (http://forums.itscourses.org/profile.php?do=editusergroups) under the Miscellaneous heading.

4) Find the course you are taking under the "groups available for you to join" heading. Select the group/course and then click Join Group.

5) You will be asked to explain your request. Indicate that you are currently taking the course at your school. Ie: "I am taking Psalms at Bible Seminary."

6) Be patient, once you place your request it will be reviewed and then approved by ITS. You can check back under on the same Group Memberships page to see if your request has been approved.
